Zuntz
Julie Berg (Zuntz) was Wolf's mother, lived from 14.5.1877 to November 1959. She was the daughter of Nathan Zuntz, a renowned physiologist who did pioneering research on mammal (human) metabolism.
She was a qualified teacher but never entered the profession having married Otto Berg on 10.3.1900 when she was 23. However she did teach Wolf at home during the first world war when many teachers, particularly the young ones, were conscipted to the army
She had 4 children: Eva, Heinz, Wolf and Richard
